Get started with Bitcoins
In order to do anything with Bitcoins you must have a wallet. You can have more than one wallet, either local with an app on your computer or smartphone, or online using a cloud-based wallet.Some good ones are:
Blockchain (also has a nice Smartphone App)
CoinBase
Each wallet can have more than one address. Is someone sends bitcoins to such an address they end up in the corresponding wallet. Using multiple addresses can be useful if you want to be able to see where your money comes from. For instance:
AddressA - To all your friends
AddressB - For mining
AddressC - For faucets
etc.
Now to get your first bitcoins flowing into your wallet you can use Faucets.
